Campaigns and Laboratory Projects

Every year, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration performs a number of campaigns and laboratory projects.
Read more about the projects here.

Campaigns are directed towards areas where there is a suspicion of or knowledge of problems or high risks.

Most of the laboratory projects are centrally coordinated and have monitoring or control as purposes, but screening projects are also a possibility when an upcoming issue has to be defined.

Sometimes, the inspectors take samples for analysis, if they have a suspicion of non-compliance or as a follow up. These projects are coordinated in the regions.

Reports from the campaigns and laboratory projects are published on the DVFA Danish website.

The reports can be used to evaluate, if there is a need for amended inspection procedures, guidelines or information.
