The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's Register of Danish Fish Farms

All Danish fish farms are registered in the Central Husbandry Register (CHR) with both location and disease status. The disease status are the categories according to EU-Directive 2006/88/EC.

​​​Denmark (whole territory) is approved as free of Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) by the European Union (Commission Decision 2009/177/EC). 

 
​The freshwater trout farms are either approved free of Viral Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (VHS) by the European Union (Commission Decision 2009/177/EC) or included in the surveillance programme as part of the approved eradication program. All marine fish farms has an undetermined health status based on the knowledge that wild fish stock carrying marine​ VHS types are present in Danish marine waters. 

 
Denmark (whole territory) is approved as free of Spring Viraemia of Carp (SVC) by the European Union (Commission Decision 2010/221/EC), and the carp farms in Denmark are registered as free of Koi Herpes Virus (KHV). 

 
Fish farm​s free of Bacterial Kidney Disease (BKD) and/or Infectious Pancreas Necrosis (IPN) are also registered in the Central Husbandry Register.
