Information Regarding BSE


Here, you can find information about the Danish handling of the risk of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) as it has developed, since the first case of BSE occurred in Denmark in February 2000 and up to now.

Since the occurrence of the first BSE case in February 2000, it has been a top priority for the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration to take all precautions necessary to protect the consumers against the potential health risk associated with bovine products.
