Birds

This group of pets includes all species of birds except poultry*.

Poultry means fowl, turkeys, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, quails, pigeons, pheasants, partridges and ratites (Ratitae) reared or kept in captivity for breeding, the production of meat or eggs for consumption, or for re-stocking supplies of game.

Certain species
For certain bird species CITES import or (re-)export permits are required if travelling with them.
It is the Danish Forest and Nature Agency that is responsible for the CITES rules.
