The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration is responsible for ensuring that export of animals and animal products fulfill the conditions for import into the country of destination
The Danish Chief Veterinary Officer has the overall responsibility for animal health in relation to imports of animals and animal products. Read more about the rules on import of animal and animal products.
A veterinary certificate authorised by the EU must accompany all imported food of animal origin from third countries.
