The aim of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration is to ensure protection of consumer safety and animal health and welfare. To deal with such objectives, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration participate actively in the work of international organisations including:
- The European Union
- Codex Alimentarius
- World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE)
- Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)
- World Health Organization (WHO)
- The Nordic Council of Ministers.
